Installation of solar photovoltaic panels on the roof of the existing facility and the new additions will produce electricity and SRECs to reduce the impact of the overall project. SRECs vary in value, however, recent regulations allow for long term contracts with utility companies and brokers that can fix the SRECs for as much as 15 years. Currently SRECs are selling at $650+ with long term contracts available for $400 / SREC.
