Middle Township High School

Cape May Court House, New Jersey

This project included 59,000 square feet of additions and 60,000 square feet of renovations to the existing building. The addition provided a new library media center, computer research center, resource rooms, home economic/ life skills classrooms, industrial technology and graphic arts classrooms. Also included in the addition were a full size competition gymnasium with seating for 1,200, fitness center, health classrooms, locker facilities and an administrative complex. The original cafeteria and food service area were converted into a television studio and art classrooms. A new cafeteria with two food courts and a seating area that can be subdivided into two independent cafeteria spaces was added. Eight science laboratories were created by converting the original library, home economics room, and residual space around the center core of the school.
