Antietam Humane Society New Administration and Rescue Building

Waynesboro, Pennsylvania

The Antietam Humane Society required a contemporary administrative area to better serve their clients in Southern Central Pennsylvania. The Design Collaborative developed plans for a two story 7,200 square foot structure located on a steeply sloped site. Access to each level was accommodated without the need for an elevator as the design provided grade entry to each level. The design provided public access at the lower floor that also provided shelter for animals waiting to be adopted. The second level was able to house the full administrative functions of the society in a secure location. The construction was completed in May 2018.
