Brigantine Elementary School - Capital Improvements

The Brigantine Board of Education performed extensive capital improvements to their Elementary School's mechanical systems, Courtyard and Plaza. The improvements included replacement of the existing pneumatic BMS with a new DDC system; replacement of existing pneumatic control valve and damper actuators, existing chiller and cooling tower and chilled water and condenser water pumps; replacement of various existing motors with premium efficiency motors; Classroom Unit Ventilators; existing hot water boilers and associated heating hot water pumps; replacement of existing rooftop exhaust fans; replacement of existing fan coil units; exterior steel door replacement; existing air handling units and modifications to the existing HVAC systems serving the Main Office. The Courtyard drainage issue was corrected and the Plaza was also waterproofed. The school also had the Simplex fire alarm converted so it was compatible with the new system at the Middle School.
