Avalon Community School Additions and Renovations

Avalon, New Jersey

This project gave the existing school a total make-over. It included 29,000 S.F. of additions to core spaces, including a gymnasium, library/media center, art and music rooms, small group instruction and administrative office, and 18,000 S.F. of renovations throughout the existing elementary school. The school was ready for occupancy in 2005. The Design Collaborative obtained the maximum State Aid (22.06%) for this project.
